Nilay Örnek, who is a successful journalist, focuses on the food, culture and culinary traditions of the city. Follow her and enrich your Istanbul visit with her gourmet tips. Nilay Örnek has worked as an Editor for Sabah newspaper and as a Columnist & Editor for Milliyet newspaper for 8 years. While she was working at Milliyet, she went to the US twice to study. She gained a scholarship from Knight Wallace Fellows and studied at both Rutgers University and the University of Michigan. She worked for Habertürk newspaper first as an Assistant Managing Editor and Writer, then as Editor-in-Chief of the week-end supplements for 2.5 years. Her first book "All Good People Are Resentful" was published in October 2017.
